Hours: Monday - Thursday 1:30 PM – 8:30 PM, Mid-May through Mid-August: 10-15 hrs/per week, schedule to be arranged with the Director of Campus Life.

Delaware County Community College is seeking applications for a part-time 25 hrs/wk Evening Campus Life Assistant for our Campus Life department.
This position provides administrative and secretarial support for Campus Life Office staff, programs and services, with particular emphasis on community service, student activities, co-curricular program and event promotion.
Primary responsibilities include but not limited to providing administrative and secretarial support for the Director of Campus Life; Assist Director of Campus Life with New Student Orientation programs: signage, promotions, and evaluations; Assist the Director of Campus Life with social, co-curricular and cultural program arrangements for evening students: publicity, room reservations, purchase orders, contracts and other arrangements as needed; Prepare promotional flyers and other publicity for student activities and co-curricular programs; Assist the Director of Campus Life with identifying community service opportunities and securing agencies to come on campus to recruit volunteers; Provide support for clubs and organizations: room reservations, fund raising, special programs and program support, recruitment and the student activities expo; Assist the Director of Campus Life with the Student Awards Banquet arrangements: invitations, ticket sales, awards, and entertainment; Assist the Student Theater Coordinator as needed on promotion, publication, and ticket sales; Update the College web calendar with campus life activities; Update and maintain Campus Life information on delaGATE; Update and maintain SARS information; Perform general office duties, including answering telephones and inquires, locker rentals, ticket sales, general typing, maintaining appointment calendars, preparing promotional flyers; Support the day staff as needed with program arrangements and flyers; Other duties as assigned by the Director, Campus Life.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate must have a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; Associate’s Degree preferred but not required; Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; Ability to communicate effectively with students and the general public; Excellent time management and organizational skills; Commitment to customer service and teamwork.
