The Communications, Arts and Humanities Department is searching for an adjunct instructor to teach an day section of ART 225 Prepress and Printing Processes for the Fall 2016 semester. This course introduces students to the use of computing technology as it applies to the preparation of digital files for the printing industry. Printing and binding methods used to reproduce the work of the graphic designer will be studied.. Instructors must hold a Master’s degree in the discipline and appropriate teaching experience. The course is part of the AFA degree in Graphic Design and qualified candidates must demonstrate a strong emphasis on theory, concept and visually-rich content. Official transcripts, two letters of recommendation and images of personal and student work will be required before hiring.
