Head Coach Larry Yarbray, Sr.Head Coach: Larry Yarbray Sr.

Larry Yarbray Sr. enters his third season as the head coach of the Delaware County Community College men's basketball program. Coach Yarbray brings a wealth of basketball experience and knowledge to the program. Prior to Delaware County, Yarbray spent nine seasons as head coach of the Boys Basketball program at Chester High School. During his tenure, Coach Yarbray amassed 214 wins including seven 20-win seasons. Under Yarbray's leadership, the Clippers won five Del Val championships, four Pennsylvania District 1 championships, two Pennsylvania AAAA State championships and 91 percent of Yarbray's former high school student-athletes have continued their education at some institution of higher learning. Yarbray was a standout basketball student-athlete at Chester High School and Coppin State University where he earned a bachelor's degree in Management Science.

Years Coaching at the College: Third year

Darius Gilbert enters his third season as men's assistant basketball coach. Gilbert has volunteered for many years in helping students with developing and expanding their basketball skills throughout Delaware County recreation centers. Embracing the opportunity to be an ambassador to the youth, Gilbert has also mentored student-athletes from many school districts by promoting the value of maintaining appropriate educational backgrounds to be qualified for athletics. Gilbert’s community outreach extends to the families of the student-athletes as well, as he has been an asset for the parents within the community of Chester by providing knowledge and emphasizing the importance of education for their children outside of basketball, along with exposing the families to other activities outside of Chester. A standout basketball student-athlete at Lincoln University, Gilbert earned his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice, and later earned a master's degree in Secondary Counseling at Wilmington University.

Years Coaching at the College: First year

Levi Tucker, Sr. enters his first season as the assistant coach of the Delaware County Community College men’s basketball program. Tucker brings a wealth of basketball experience and knowledge to the program. Prior to Delaware County, Tucker spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Glen Mills School where they won back-to-back Pennsylvania Interstate Athletic Association (PIAA) State Championships. He also spent two seasons at Marple Newtown High School as the assistant varsity coach before moving on to Academy Park High School where he spent four seasons as an assistant coach helping to develop student-athletes to succeed at the next level on the court and in life. Coaching on the staff at Academy Park was special to Tucker as it was a chance for him to give back to his community, as well as continue to play a part in coaching both of his sons. Tucker was invested in his community so much that he helped coach the team for the first year with no pay. A standout basketball student-athlete at Darby Township High School, Tucker continued his outstanding play at Northeastern Christian Junior College where he earned a Liberal Arts degree in Business Management.
