Resources for students
Programs & Events - Every semester the Office of Diversity and Inclusion offers a series of programs for students, coordinated by the IDC’s Diversity Programming and Events Subcommittee. Other events are collaborations with groups such as Student Life, College-Wide Reading and the Black and Latio Male Empowerment Initiative (BLMEI)
Consultations or Concerns - The Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer is available to all students to advise with questions or concerns related to diversity and inclusion. Please send an email to schedule a time to meet.
Resources for Staff & Faculty
Workshops - Every semester, a series of workshops will be available to all Delaware County Community College Staff. These workshops are interactive and will encourage you to have discussions with your colleagues.
Consultations - Would you like support with issues related to diversity equity and inclusion? Consultations are available upon request to discuss anything from personal experiences to creating a more inclusive work space and are available for individuals or small groups.
Request a training - Training is available upon request and topics can be customized to the needs of your office, department or division. Contact us for more information about existing and custom training options.
Resource library - The Office of Diversity Equity and Inclusion has a small resource library with a curated set of timely books that are open to all faculty and staff. Please contact the office to arrange a time to find what you’re looking for.
Teaching Consultations - Would you like support with issues related to diversity equity and inclusion in your classroom? Consultations are available upon request to discuss anything from teaching during tumultuous times, to creating a more inclusive syllabus and are available for individuals or small groups.
Inclusive Teaching Workshops - In collaboration with the Division of Innovation, Teaching and Digital Learning Excellence workshops on creating a more inclusive classroom space are available to all faculty.
